Registration Open for Sixth Annual Women’s Retreat

Posted on: February 13th, 2013 by Peter Hoelter No Comments

April 19th–21st, 2013

beach_houseAnne Lamont’s book — Help, Thanks, Wow! — reflects on three very basic prayers. Join us for lively fellowship, delicious food and new insights as we explore prayer taking our lead from Lamont with depth, humor and grace. Our time at the beach will wade into these concepts. It is not necessary to have read the book to enjoy our time in conversation, reflection and worship. There will also be plenty of time for play, and yes, prayer.

Just north of Lincoln City, on the Oregon Coast— We will be staying in a large home right on the beach. This lodge-style home is fully furnished, with linens, towels and a fully-equipped kitchen where we will be preparing our own meals.

Rally Sunday is September 9th — All are Welcome!

Posted on: August 23rd, 2012 by Peter Hoelter No Comments

All are invited to help us celebrate the beginning of another school year: St. Mark families, St. Mark CDC families, VBS families, and others. On September 9th, we will worship outside at 9:30am followed by barbecue lunch, games, and fellowship. There will be plenty of fun for the kids and the young-at-heart, including a bounce house, water balloons, and more. This year, we would like to support the LWR school kit project by asking people to bring school supply donations.

Join us to bless our children as they start their next new adventure.

Saint Mark will open its doors the fourth Saturday of the month beginning this Saturday, June 23, and invites community members to walk its labyrinth, 9 a.m. to noon.

Walking the Labyrinth, located in the church lounge, offers an opportunity for meditation and reflection. Having the church open on Saturdays through October during the Saturday Market season will allow Saint Mark to welcome members of the community when they come into town to do their weekly market shopping.

Saint. Mark is located diagonally across Marion Street from the southwest corner of the Saturday Market.

For details, please contact the church office at 503-588-0141.
