VBS in July on Monday Evenings

Posted on: June 23rd, 2019 by Peter Hoelter No Comments

We will be trying a Vacation Bible School type experience for all ages on Monday evenings in July. We are planning to start with a light supper at 6:00 p.m., followed by lesson on the Biblical stories in our stained glass windows, games an crafts, and a wind- down “bedtime story” around 8:00 p.m. You do not need to be at all five Monday evenings to be involved. If you would like to sign up to help with just one meal, craft, or help with a specific area, call the church office. Lots of fun to be had by ALL!

Faith Dialogues Coming in June

Posted on: May 9th, 2019 by Peter Hoelter No Comments

Did you ever wonder about Jesus’ parable about the log in your own eye and the speck in your neighbor’s eye? Are we meant to laugh at ourselves while at the same time being convicted of the truth of our willingness to see fault in the other? What else in scripture can be seen as humorous?

Come and find out Thursday, June 13th, 7 p.m. as Father Tony Petrotta shares “Reflections on Scripture, Humor and Faith”. Pick up a brochure which outlines all three presentations (13th, 16th and 30th) and share with neighbors and friends, especially those who may be ready to look at Christianity from a little more lighthearted approach!
