Saint Mark Lutheran Church will hold its annual congregational meeting on Sunday, January 27th, at 9:45 a.m. All confirmed members are encouraged to attend.
Saint Mark organist Tim Bibelheimer was featured in the Statesman Journal December 16th, highlighting his upcoming organ concert. The full article, including a video of Tim playing and a photo gallery, can be found on the paper’s Web site.
The traditional meatball Adventfest dinner will be held on Friday, December 21st, at 5:00 p.m.. The Advent Organ Concert will follow at 7:00 p.m. Plan now to attend and get your ticket early since this Concert!
The cost of the dinner will be $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 3-10. This includes meatballs, potatoes, rolls and beverage. We ask that you bring desserts or salads a little larger than usual to accommodate our guests!

The first Sunday in Advent will be December 2nd. With the beginning of Advent, we will have our mid-week worship on Wednesdays at 12:05 p.m. Worship will be followed by a light soup luncheon. We hope people will take time to join us for worship and lunch and return to work before 1:00 p.m. Advent services will be on December 5, 12, & 19. The labyrinth will be available each of those Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Sunday Church School for ages 3 through high school begins this week at 9:45 a.m. in the education wing (downstairs). Another year of learning and growing along with meeting and making new friends is upon us! Jennifer Morace is our Sunday School Superintendent and Brent Morace, chairs all youth activities. All are welcome (including friends!).
All are invited to help us celebrate the beginning of another school year: St. Mark families, St. Mark CDC families, VBS families, and others. On September 9th, we will worship outside at 9:30am followed by barbecue lunch, games, and fellowship. There will be plenty of fun for the kids and the young-at-heart, including a bounce house, water balloons, and more. This year, we would like to support the LWR school kit project by asking people to bring school supply donations.
