Music is not benign. Music has power to shape, to lift up, to throw down, to debase, and to heal. Into what are we being shaped by the music we choose for worship of God?

Hospitality & Music

Presenter: David Cherwien
How can the music of a parish invite participation? What are some things that assemblies can be aware of to enhance participation?

Saturday Workshop Topics:

These workshops would be especially useful for those who plan worship: clergy, music directors, organists, musicians, choir directors.

Music for the Worship Service

Presenter: David Cherwien
Techniques will be shared that encourage rather than discourage singing.

Seven Good Questions: A Template for God-Centered Worship

Presenter: Susan Palo Cherwien
Seven questions to ask for anyone involved in the shaping of worship of God.
